After 15 years in the Santa Clara County Public
Defender's Office, Mr. Chastaine became Of Counsel to the well
respected firm of Rothschild, Wishek and Sands, LLP.
Since
it's founding in 2007, The Chastaine Law Office has offered outstanding
legal advice to clients charged with criminal misconduct.

March 2008 - Placer County - Massage therapist charged with multiple counts of sexual battery - Not guilty all counts
January 2008 - Placer County - taxi driver charged with rape of an intoxicated person - Not guilty all counts
October 2007 - San Joaquin County - child molest charges - Not guilt all counts
April 2007 - Sacramento County - Business man charged with Battery - Not guilty all counts
February 2007
- Solano County - school teacher charged with multiple counts of child
molest - mistrial/hung jury followed by a favorable settlement
July 2006 - San Joaquin County - Step father accused of child molest - Not guilty all counts
2009 Recently secured a
certificate of factual innocence regarding a client identified as a person who
threw a beer bottle at a woman.
2009-2010 Obtained several
certificates of rehabilitation in various counties for persons with prior sex
offenses, thereby eliminating their requirement to register as a sex offender.
2009 Pursued the District
Attorney to dismiss a failure to register as a sex offender case due to a
mistake of fact.
2010 Obtained a very favorable
Federal Sentence for a client who possessed weapons after suffering drug sales
convictions.
